When I was sixteen-years-old one of the many careers that I considered was law. I did some research on this field and decided that law was not the career for me. I found it totally boring. If only law was as exciting in real life as it was on television then I would have definitely reconsidered practicing law. But for me, it wasn't. Even though I would never want to be a lawyer, I still loved watching "legal tv shows." One of my favorites at the time was Matlock which starred Andy Griffith. His character, Ben Matlock was an extremely intelligent down-home Atlanta lawyer who specialized in sensational murder cases.
I loved the show and to this day I watch re-runs of it on the Hallmark channel. The only thing I didn't like about the show was Matlock's crappy office. You would think with all of the cases that he was winning the creators of the show could afford to put him into some decent office space. I just didn't get that. Halloween this year was horrible, some kids on my street thought it would be funny to egg a few houses on the bloock and spray them with some type of nasty substance that ruined the paint jobs. My house one of the ones that was targeted. I was upset at first, but 2 kids fessed up to the mess after the police started investigating. So now their parents are paying for my house painting costs. I have to have the whole house repainted because they ruined everything. I'm happy that I'm having my house repainted but now I don't think I want to continue living in this neighborhood.
